Welcome to Kooth and Qwell’s February newsletter. We hope you’re keeping well!

Children’s Mental Health Week (5-11 February)

This year’s theme for CMHW is ‘My Voice Matters’. Our recent report showcases how listening to the voices of young people underpins everything we do. 98% of young people said it was important or very important that they had a choice in how they received support on Kooth. Young people can choose from therapeutic content and peer support, to single-session chats and more structured, ongoing work with professionals. Kooth provides young people with the autonomy to choose the support they want, when they need it.

We have recently published a Support Guide: What is a panic attack? for young people.

Overcoming mental health stigma in Muslim communities

In March, we’re offering free KoothTalks training webinars that aim to help you navigate barriers to encourage people from the Muslim community to get mental health support when they need it. We’ve worked closely with a number of external experts including a Muslim GP, the Muslim Women’s Network and Citizen’s UK, to create this training. Please click to book
